To address the concern of consumers, Food Business Operators and other stakeholders, FSSAI has a dedicated helpline working on 24x7 basis (Toll Free No. 1800112100). This help line is available round the day and addresses consumer grievances, Food Import Clearance System issues, Food Registration and Licensing System issues, queries on website & FSSAI initiatives’ sites, etc. This helpline work force registers grievances on food related issues and attend to grievances submitted by consumers through app, website, Whatsapp and other social media channels. The work force also coordinates with internal and external stakeholders for closure on issues raised.
